Personal Quote:Learning Spanish goes way beyond the ability to communicate with people from other linguistic backgrounds. It not only gives us the skills to step inside the minds of people from different cultures but it also allows us to get to know ourselves in a different light. Just as “the traveler who has once been from home is wiser than he who has never left his own door step, so a knowledge of one other culture should sharpen our own ability to scrutinize more steadily, to appreciate more lovingly, our own” (Margaret Meade, American anthropologist).
Personal Highlights:
I love experimenting with food, laughing about myself, and devouring words both printed and filmed. I feel privileged to be able to teach such energetic and creative students how to savor Spanish and life.
