Personal Quote:Criminal justice is a fascinating and important field. Our primary concern is to protect the public from crime. While law enforcement is a vital part of this mission, criminal justice studies also work to enrich our communities through development and study of crime prevention programs and other work to reduce crime. So our work is not just to fight crime, but to contribute to the ongoing challenge of preserving a just society.
Personal Highlights:
Shenandoah National Park is one of my favorite places. I also have a great interest in history and politics. My work here gives me a chance to study issues that interest me in an area I love to spend time in. But it’s good to have diverse interests, so I also devote some time to my love of Japanese culture, especially cinema.
